Pregnancy is a remarkable time of joy, excitement, planning, and...well...changes. You may feel like things are changing quickly and dramatically without warning or guidance. MBody You offers several different services to address exactly what you're looking for. We hope to provide you with education and encouragement, as well as realistic expectations of what to expect, in order to make your pregnancy and postpartum experience as rewarding and enjoyable as possible. If we work together, we will come up with a plan together, to keep you moving throughout pregnancy and return to your pre-pregnancy fitness levels as proficiently and safely as possible.

SPECIALIZED SERVICES FOR DANCE, GYMNASTICS, CHEER, FIGURE SKATING
Pre-pointe evaluation
For the dancer who is hoping to begin dancing en pointe.
​
Assessment of mobility, flexibility, strength, endurance, lower extremity alignment, core control, and dance-specific movement patterns
​
Dancer will leave with a report of strengths, as well as areas to work on, with an individualized exercise program to achieve his or her goals.
​
Pre- and/or post-season screenings
Specific to your sport's season and biomechanics requirements, as well as your athletes' individual levels
​
Pre-season screenings can identify problem areas that may arise during competition and effect team events
​
Post-season screenings can identify deficits after a fatiguing competition season and provide opportunity for strength, mobility, and resilience training in the off-season.
​
The athlete will leave with a report of strengths and opportunities for improvement, as well as an individualized exercise program.
On-site or virtual triage
For the studio or gym that needs recommendation on an athlete's acute injury.
​
This is not a formal physical therapy evaluation, but will provide the athlete on recommendation regarding the benefit of an MD visit, imaging, physical therapy, and/or exercise.
​
30-minute triage that can be performed at a consistent day and time, on-site at your studio or gym, or virtually
​
Can be a great solution to the common problem of performing artists being told to sit out of class completely for an indefinite amount of time.
For the studios and gyms that would like to offer specialized physical therapy services to their athletes.
​
60-minute evaluations and 45-minute follow-ups, provided at a consistent day and time, on-site or virtually
​
Cost can be covered by the studio/gym, split between gym and client, or covered by the client.

Pregnancy Wellness Consult
Congratulations on your pregnancy! MBody You can help to get you prepared for all of the physiological changes that your body will go through.
Gain the knowledge of what to expect before, during, and after birth, and exercises to keep your body strong, moving, and happy.
​
Discuss your pregnancy fitness goals and potential modifications that may be helpful.
​
Leave with a better understanding of physical pregnancy changes and exercises to address this, as well as your goals.
Postpartum Return to Running Assessment
Are you itching to get back on the road postnatally? This may not be something you want to jump back into without proper training. Especially if you have experienced mild complications like prolapse or leaking, or have had a c-section.
​
MBody You has developed a postpartum return to running assessment that can be performed in person or virtually.
​
You will leave this assessment with a report of your strengths and areas to improve upon, recommendation for running with a potential progressive return to running program, and exercises to address your needs and goals.
Postpartum Return to Fitness Planning and Programming
This option is best utilized in multiple visits. During the initial consult, we will discuss your current level of fitness, symptoms, challenges, successes, and goals. You will leave with an exercise program to address these needs.
​
Follow-up sessions improve confidence, efficiency, and enjoyment during your postpartum return-to-fitness experience. You will leave each session with updated exercises, goals, and fitness progressions.
For the pregnant woman who is trying to maintain abdominal health or the postpartum woman hoping to improve her abdominal separation.
​
This wellness consult and potential follow-up appointments will help to guide women with safe exercises that will appropriately load their core musculature.
​
Keep in mind, you're dang near guaranteed to have a separation during pregnancy. This is nothing to be concerned about. These wellness visits will address your body's ability to manage load and pressure most efficiently.
