Mary Beth is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has experience in treating pediatrics, geriatrics, and every thing in between.  She most recently has specialized in treating youth athletes and dancers. Mary Beth received her Bachelors in Kinesiology and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University.  In 2018, she completed a physical therapy orthopedic residency program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and became a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy in 2019. She has experience treating youth, adolescent, and adult recreational, competitive, and professional athletes.

Fun fact:  Her first patient as a licensed physical therapist was an NBA player!

Growing up as a dancer, Mary Beth learned how it important it is for there to be members of the medical community that understand the demands of dance and support dancers from a holistic standpoint.  She is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science and treats a wide variety of recreational, pre-professional, and professional dancers in Ohio and Louisiana, as well as on professional tours, including So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars.  She is actively involved in community outreach with dance studios, in which she performs injury prevention screenings, educational sessions, and pre-pointe evaluations. Mary Beth has presented research involving second ACL injury at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting.
